I remember meeting Tangie the spring of 1975, along with the late Lisa Bourroughs. We were interviewing for the music program. We all were selected to attend the fall of 75, where we were all voice majors. It was great to see how we had matriculated from TECH and to fulfill the callings of our lives, but for Lisa and now Tangie, it is bitter sweet.

What a loss we the Tech family has experienced. I remember meeting Tangie in the Fall of 75 when we first arrived at McKinley. She was a joy to be around and to talk with. Later on we shared taking turns playing the piano in Mrs. G's room, and shared cord progressions and styles. I will miss keeping up with her on Facebook, however I'm sure she has already been recruited to play that Hammond in the Heavenly Choir. Rest in peace until we meet again.
